Kellerberrin comes to Sydney!
If you are standing in the Sir Hermann Black Gallery reading this blog, welcome!
Feel free to use this computer to:
- read the blog (although you’ll get tired standing up so you might as well compile a take-home copy)
- record responses, comments and feedback
- check your email or whatever
- see pictures of the blog being compiled in the gallery
While you’re here, compile your own copy to take home thusly:
- start over to your far left around the corner
- slip on a handy “thimblette” – it makes it easier to grab the pages, and that way you don’t have to lick your finger
- pick up a copy of each of the pages one by one, starting from the coloured cover and ending over at the far right with the coloured back cover
- tap all the pages gently to neaten the pile when you reach the end of the production line
- use the old fashioned staple machine to bind your copy of the blog together – gently press down on the foot pedal when you have your booklet in position
- If you are lucky enough to find Lucas in the gallery (at the opening, he’s the one wearing the striking Kellerberrin Volunteer Fire Brigade outfit) he’ll be happy to personally sign your book for you.
- oh, and don’t forget to put $5.00 in the jar*, grab a “minty” and return your thimblette to the receptacle provided
*There is a 20% discount for student union members. The Sir Hermann Black Gallery is run by the student union, and it looks like the whole voluntary student unionism thing will mean this great space will be outta commission by the end of the year. For more on that issue, try here or here…
